Safe Routes practitioners are hard at work reimagining what their programs are going to look like this year. Here are some exciting resources from our partners:
- WalkSF facilitated a discussion on how parents and caregivers can safely get out with kids (and have fun!)
- Marin County SRTS has developed a “Safe Routes for a Return to School 2020” guidebook as well as a Savvy Family Cycling new on-line course
- Sonoma County Bicycle Coalition is gearing up for a fall of virtual family bike workshops - view what’s in store for both level 1 and level 2 classes.
- San Mateo County Office of Education convened local city staff to discuss how to implement “slow streets” around schools. Watch the recorded meeting here.
Do you have resources to share? Feel free to add them to the Bay Area SRTS “Back to School” shared document.
